Hi, my nickname is Crabby Abby, but I prefer to be called my
real name Abigail Leanne Harrop. I am eighteen years old and my
birthday is November 26th, 1989, I was born at Alton
Memorial Hospital but all my siblings were born at St. Joseph’s
Hospital. I guess I was just the odd ball in the family. My mom says
I was the easiest one to be born although my mom and I could have
died during my birth but luckily we both survived.
My biological parents are Kent Harrop and Kelly Martin. Since
my parents got a divorce I have two more parents who are Sam Martin
and Donna Harrop. I have six siblings, three sisters and three
brothers. They’re names are Paul Martin, Faith Martin, Veronica
Harrop, Randy Harrop, Heather Wood, and Josh Harrop. I also have four dogs and The
dog’s names are Titus, Daisy Mae, Beth and Daisy. My grandparents are caring, loving
people they’re names are John Harrop, Margaret Harrop, Lois
Zimmerman, Samuel Martin Sr., & Maxine Martin. My best friends are
Ashley Perkins, Nikki Smith, Allen Kutter, & Precious Hart
My favorite things to do during free time, are play softball,
play on computer, and go shopping. My hobbies are playing softball,
going shopping, spending money, and singing. I always wanted to be a
singer but my brothers always said I stunk at it. So I stopped
thinking I could be one. Then when I got into the sixth grade they
have choir so I decided to join so I did then I came out of my stage
fright and started to sing in front of my friends and they said I was
pretty good. So I started thinking my brothers could just be saying
that cause they’re my brothers and they don’t want me to have some
pride in myself. One time last summer I was practicing softball and
my coach was tossing the ball to each person. When he got to me he
threw it a little to hard and it smacked me right in my right arm
that hurt for a while but by the time of the game I was all
right.
The schools I have attended are Meadowbrook Elementary, Sixth Grade Center,
& Wilbur Trimpe Middle School. I graduated from Civic
Memorial High School. Teachers at Bethalto are great they cover
practically every subject they’re supposed to. People say I am
lucky because I have only had to go to four different schools. My favorite subject is
Math because I really
like my math teacher and she does really fun stuff with us. My
future plan is to go to college and get masters and a degree to
become an excellent lawyer.
I accepted Christ as my Savior in May 1998. I use
to attend Church at First Southern Baptist Church of Meadowbrook but
right now I go with different friends of mine. I work almost
every Sunday.
